Taking leaps of faith

Taking Leaps of Faith

When we stand at a crossroads, we are offered a moment of choice to step out of our comfort zone or walk the tried and tested path. The opportunity to take a risk can change the course of our lives forever. While that can be scary, it is also exhilarating. I've spent the last two decades exploring the depths of the human spirit and the wonders of personal growth by confronting my fears and breaking barriers.

Our gut instinct whispers and nudges us to trust it. Entrepreneurs and athletes live in tune with their instinct to grow themselves and navigate their success. Taking leaps of faith is not a decision to be taken lightly, yet each decision has led to unparalleled growth and personal fulfillment. In my journey as a life coach, I've witnessed countless individuals who decided to make that job change, start that business, or pursue that dream they've held in their hearts for years. They weren't rash; they understood what their hearts wanted most, weighed their options, sought advice, and planned the next steps. And while not every calculated risk bore immediate fruit, many paved the way for personal growth and self-discovery. They learned to adapt, to find opportunity amidst adversity, and to draw strength from the lessons of their experiences. I am reminded of a Sufi dancer who twirls and becomes one in tune with the music, where there is a complete partnership between the universe and the dancer. That's how life needs to be lived, with complete surrender and trust in the inner voice. Leaps of faith are the soul's grand declaration of trust and surrender to the unknown. From chartered accountancy to becoming a spiritual master, I have not stopped pushing my boundaries to live in alignment with the inner voice. Michael Jordan, at the peak of his basketball career with the Chicago Bulls in 1993, shocked the sports world by retiring to pursue a baseball career, a sport he had played in his youth. Despite facing skepticism, Jordan joined the Chicago White Sox's minor league team. Although his baseball career didn't match his basketball success, this leap of faith demonstrated his determination to challenge himself. In 1995, Jordan returned to the NBA, leading the Bulls to three more championships and solidifying his status as one of the greatest athletes in history. His willingness to take risks and step out of his comfort zone played a crucial role in his unparalleled success.

Through the years, I have learned several valuable lessons such as:

Trust in yourself and own your choices

Fear is a challenge to be conquered

Failure is not defeat, it is a stepping stone to success

Acknowledge and celebrate progress

Develop nurturing support systems

Your life is a story waiting to be written, and it's up to you to fill its pages with daring, courage, and unwavering belief. The universe is waiting to meet you halfway.

What leap will you take today?

Taking a leap of faith is like the soul's bold affirmation of #trust, a courageous #surrender to the mysteries of the unknown. It's the profound act of letting go, allowing the #universe to unfold its wonders in our #journey of self-discovery and #happiness. Embrace the beauty of taking leaps, for in those #moments, magic happens. #Ashukhanna #Iam #Playbooktohappiness #newsletter #leapsoffaith
